Mainstream media pundits and the liberal “experts” they had on set this morning to critique Donald Trump’s performance during the final night of the Republican National Convention had to work very hard to find something to complain about, but they still managed. While the Hillary fans chastised Trump for his “doom and gloom” speech about the chaos overwhelming America, they neglected to even address the amazingly insightful video the Republican nominee’s son narrated as it was shown on the jumbotron–it has now gone viral.
“My grandfather always said, the most important thing in life is to love what you’re doing because that’s the only way you’ll ever really be good at it,” Donald Trump Jr. said at the beginning of the touching glimpse behind the curtain into his father’s life.
The video makes it both quickly and readily apparent how vastly important three things are in Donald Trump’s life: family, work, and our country.
Trump was not driven to enter the presidential race out of a need to grab the brass ring–he already racked up a whole box of those from achieving many things everyone steadfastly claimed were impossible to do.
Unlike Hillary, he was not motivated to subject himself to the abuse and scrutiny all presidential candidates go through because of a chip on his shoulder or an unfulfilled ego.
Trump decided to walk away from one of his great loves, his work, out of a sense of patriotic duty–the purest of all reasons to run for president.
Rarely has a candidate cast aside all personal wants and desires to take upon the greatest responsibility of all–being the leader of the free world.
Like Ronald Reagan, Donald Trump is not a career politician.
He has not spent the vast majority of his adult life living in a bubble like Hillary Clinton and far too many of her cohorts in Washington, D.C.
He is merely a successful man who knew he had something to contribute and was called to seek the highest office in the land.
That, ladies and gentleman, is the definition of a true statesman.
WHEN Donald Trump wins in November and begins righting the ship, our Founding Fathers will be proud we finally have a President that represents We the People, NOT a career politician that has done nothing but abuse the system the moment she entered it.
